Support the State 4-H Camp in Halsey, while you enjoy a guided Trail Ride in Nebraska's scenic Sandhills! All proceeds from the 4-H Trail Ride will support the State 4-H Camp in Halsey, which is celebrating 50 years.
The 4-H Trail Ride will be October 11-13, 2013.
Savor beautiful scenery while riding trails in the Nebraska National Forest near Halsey. Enjoy delicious meals, family activities, and great entertainment, by the Goose Creek Band. Live and silent auction proceeds will benefit the 4-H Camp.
If you don't have a horse, sign up as a non-rider and ride the wagon. Anyone can sign up for the Saturday festivities (steak supper, live music, dancing, and the live/silect auctions). Kids' meal (12 years and younger) can receive half a steak. Discounted rate for 4-H clubs (more than 5 members!)
Cabins are available at the 4-H Camp, as well as campground spaces with water and electric hookups. Prefer a hotel room, there are local hotels near the trail ride. Certified weed free hay and pens are available for the horses.

4:30 pm Panel Party- help set up the pens
Bring your horse and settle in! Pens and hay are available for the horses. (*Note: the National Forest requires certified weed free hay. Regular hay is not allowed, due to potential weeds spreading into the forest.)
Hot dogs and s'mores for the hungry riders. Fly down the Zipline at the camp!

Live Auction to follow. More music & dance the night away!
Anyone is welcome to attend the Saturday night Steak Fry, entertainment by the Goose Creek Band, and the auctions ($18 per person).
